I’m linking this video here, because the truth is I “tried” to do this stretch earlier this week and that’s when I realized what happens when you don’t make this a priority.
Oh my knees how they ached… I’m okay, but the truth is good mobility just helps with simple things like bending down, sitting down, squatting down to play with your kids. Sometimes it’s easy to go for a workout and not take the necessary time to stretch… Trust me, if you don’t it can easily turn into an unnecessary injury.
Winter is Coming…I Guess That Means No Running for Me
Winter is coming and I’ve never been one to run when winter arrives. Rainy days, it goes without saying- I’m not running. But maybe this winter is different, maybe I can, maybe I should run in the winter. Heck maybe you should too.
I mean the truth is beach bodies are made in the winter.

Join the conversation with Anne Helen Petersen, author of the book Can’t Even: How Millennials Became the Burnout Generation.

“If you’re healthier mentally you will also be healthier physically.”
People are addicted to habits. Good habits just happen, if you acquire them, they happen with no thinking, and the thing that people want to happen to them is success without the effort. Theoretically speaking, if you set a good habit, good things will happen effortlessly.
But we know it’s never quite that easy, good habits just help you get in the right position for success more often than not. It’s the same for your mental and physical health. Nothing guarantees perfect health, but if you do the right thing good things happen.
In 1990 Dr. Dean Ornsih conducted the lifestyle heart trial, and he basically concluded that if you adopted a low-fat vegetarian diet, with no smoking, stress management, regular exercise, and a member in a close community you can dramatically reduce your chances of getting heart disease and you dramatically increase your chances of living an overall healthy life. This all seems like common sense, but the tough part is getting the right habits.
You probably won’t do all of these and maybe you shouldn’t, but these 5 habits seem to be a good place to start if you want to live a healthier life.
I Don’t Know About You, But I Became a Real Jimmy Butler Fan
Jimmy laid it all out on the line for the playoffs and especially the NBA Finals, so me like a lot of other people became fans. But I really became a fan especially after hearing about Big Face Coffee. Jimmy Butler was serving $20 cups of coffee in the bubble. And it appears that this side hustle in the bubble may become a real thing for Jimmy here in the near future. He’s already filed the paperwork for trademarks, so who knows we could be seeing Big Face Coffee merchandise pretty soon.
